My Own Boss

While becoming more and more disconnected from the world I found it was a difficult road ahead of me. Living in Los Angeles and seeing the whole community shut down around me I didn't know where to go. Luckily I had my wonderful girlfriend and a dog to help me cope over time.

Within a few months I decided to start working out again and got over the initial dragging of feet. Things started moving again and it was the perfect time to get back to some hobbies and passions. Over time, becoming my own boss was a goal as it is for many others but, I wanted to do it differently.

Using other businesses that were already started it was easy to just start with smaller projects and get going from the ground up. Education was a big thing and taking certificate courses/ doing brain exercises. It was hard at first to not just go all in and put hundreds of hours into my business because it was fun to help others. That satisfaction gave me reason every morning to hop out of bed and go try and connect with people. My father was starting a business that I got to hop on and help with along with some friends who liked the creative work that was being put out. This was only the beginning too, and even though the money wasn't great, it was the first time in a while that work almost did not feel like work.
