Keeping Up With Fitness and Finances

I have been on the path towards the IronMan for a while now. Since I was young and in sports it was always nice to get outside and enjoy some nice food and family time. But it never was at the top of my mind for food. I read a couple diet books and worked out all the time, but could not get the body I wanted no matter what.

Finally, my friend who happens to be a dietician told me that fitness was only a small part of being healthy in which I understood. But some of the tips and tricks allowed me to still eat the things I enjoyed, while slowly cutting off the unhealthy foods that come prepared or from restaurants.

I have started to cook for my self and incorporate a "food sharing" plan with roommates to buy in bulk and cut costs, along with having others to encourage the lifestyle.

Drinking habits have changed over the years along side sleeping patterns to help increase energy and time in the day.
